Services that worked towards providing piped drinking water supply 24x7 and completed 1,70,000 House Service Connection. This project has witnessed reduction in water contamination complaints, increase in yield, ability to make online mobile payments and an average 15 percent reduction in NRW, where some areas experienced a reduction by more than 25 percent.

Another notable project, out of many, that Swach takes pride in is in the introduction of RO/UF based water ATM at various locations near Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in Odisha. The team of experts at Swach designed a sustainable model of selling RO drinking water for Rs. 0.50/Litre to the poor people of the locality along with a Smart Card for water collection from the nearest ATM. “We are exploring various projects under National Mission for Clean Ganga. We are also exploring a number of MSW projects in the area of Bio-mining and Bio-methanation,” reveals Sourav.

Swach is also working with ULB/Development Authorities at Haldia, West Bengal to provide 24/7 piped water supply to Industries, Commercial Establishments as well as municipalities. Such integrated townships cater to all spectrums of users.

Determined to continue bringing about a positive change to the environment, Swach is looking into new avenues of Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP) and working with technical partners in association with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and have identified a few sites to deploy innovative technologies for FSTP.
